The partners that we support.
We work with a select group of partners in Europe and do not accept unsolicited applications for funding. We provide support that is primarily focussed on covering core costs so that services can be delivered effectively and with minimal overhead expenditure.
Humanitarian crises in Ukraine, Sudan, and Gaza, have dominated news headlines and seen major donors redirect funding to these causes. This has resulted in a deteriorating funding landscape for organisations helping refugees, asylum seekers, and people on the move across Europe. At the same time, the ongoing criminalisation of NGOs working with these people in Europe has restricted activities and increased costs, forcing many organisations to close their projects.
To ensure everyone continues to get the support they need, The Collective Aid Charitable Foundation was established to try to overcome these obstacles. Our mission is to act as a conduit of funding, expertise and guidance from the UK to frontline partners. As a registered UK charity, we have access to a wider range of funders and by covering the essential costs of our partner organisations, we can also ensure that a greater proportion of donation money given to frontline partners is spent on actual services and helping people on the move.
